During my internship at LEGO DESiGN(March–June 2024), I worked as part of the Graphic Design Team, contributing to the LEGO Super Heroes franchise and LEGO One Piece franchise.
Beyond deepening my understanding of LEGO’s design language and system, I also learned how to communicate ideas clearly within an international team, balance creativity with production feasibility, and refine my sense of visual storytelling through real product development.
This experience strengthened not only my technical and stylistic skills, but also my perspective as a designer who connects imagination, business aspects with practical execution.

Minifigure
Design
As part of the LEGO Graphic Design Team, I contributed to the decoration design of minifigures for the LEGO Super Heroes and One Piece series.
My role focused on using graphic decoration to bring each character to life—translating their personality and story into simplified LEGO-style visuals.
From torso patterns to facial expressions, every element was carefully refined to balance recognizability, playfulness, and manufacturability within LEGO’s design system.
Sticker&Decoration
Design
I also worked on sticker graphics for LEGO products, where decoration plays a key role in enhancing the storytelling and visual richness of models.
The process involved adapting complex motifs into clean, print-ready vector designs that fit LEGO’s color and material systems.
Each design required a strong sense of composition and clarity, ensuring that even the smallest stickers contribute meaningfully to the overall model experience.
